ToiletFitGuide method: maker parts lists, dated copies, numbers as printed
Every part number on ToiletFitGuide comes from the toilet or part maker's own parts list or page. We save a dated copy, copy the number as printed and link the source next to it.
Rules
- Maker sources only. American Standard, Kohler, TOTO and Mansfield parts lists, plus Fluidmaster, Korky and Brondell for their own products. No retailer listings, forums or search snippets.
- Copied as printed. Part numbers keep their suffixes. We never shorten or "correct" them.
- Conflicts shown. When two maker documents disagree, we show both with dates.
- Dated. Every page shows "Last updated" and the date we read each source.
- Narrow scope. Parts fit only. No repair steps, no electrical advice for bidet seats, no health claims.
Reading catalog tables
Some catalogs merge one cell across several tank rows. When the PDF text does not show which rows a cell covers, we read the page image.
