Toilet tank lid replacement: American Standard lid numbers by tank number

American Standard stamps a six-digit lid number under the lid. Its Knowledge Base says these start with 735, but its 2023 catalog lists lid 730692-0070A for tank 4061 (Colony). If you cannot read the lid number, use the tank number inside the tank.

Tank numbers are as printed; some have more than four characters (4000204, 4215A107). Tank 4370A prints two lids in its cell, the second on its own line.
